Packproof Terms of Service

Last updated: 8/15/2026

These Terms govern your use of Packproof (the "App"), a Shopify application that lets merchants attach photos to orders as proof of shipment. By installing the App, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Packproof lets merchants upload a photo to an order, which is then timestamped and optionally displayed on the customer's order status page. The App also provides a Shipment Records page that lists orders with photos attached and generates printable certificates.

No warranty on outcomes

Photos and timestamps generated by the App are provided as supporting documentation only. The App does not guarantee that this documentation will be accepted as evidence by any bank, payment processor, or dispute resolution service. Merchants remain solely responsible for how they use this documentation.

Merchant responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of photos you upload and for ensuring their use complies with applicable law, including any obligations to your own customers.

Availability

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While reasonable efforts are made to keep the service running reliably, no guarantee is made of uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App's developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App, including disputes, chargebacks, or delivery issues involving your orders.

Changes to the service

Features of the App may be added, changed, or removed over time. Material changes affecting how your data is handled will be reflected in an updated Privacy Policy.

Termination

You may uninstall the App at any time from your Shopify admin. Uninstalling stops the App's functionality but does not delete photos already stored in your store's own Files.

Contact

Questions about these Terms can be directed to the developer through the app listing on the Shopify App Store.
