Packproof ("the App") is provided to Shopify merchants to attach photos to orders as proof of shipment. This policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is handled.
When installed, the App requests access to your store's orders and files, solely to:
The App does not access, request, or store customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, or shipping addresses.
Photos are uploaded directly to your Shopify store's own Files and are served from Shopify's content delivery network. The App itself stores only the technical session information required to authenticate with your store, on infrastructure operated for the App.
The App does not sell, rent, or share any store or customer data with third parties. Data is used exclusively to provide the App's functionality to the merchant who installed it.
Removing a photo from an order within the App deletes the associated metafields immediately. Uninstalling the App does not automatically delete photos already uploaded to your store's Files, as those belong to your store independently of the App.
As the merchant, you control all data created by this App through your own Shopify admin. You may remove any photo or timestamp at any time from the order page.
Questions about this policy can be directed to the developer through the app listing on the Shopify App Store.
